There are a few things about being a slave a submissive should consider before deciding to be one.
- A slave is property (the extent of this varies from master to master i.e. my slaves tend to be treated as pets. I know masters that think of them more like a material object)
- All of the slaves demands what they won't tolerate doing or tratment of at the beginning of the relationship. (it is a contract, there is an out clause)
- Being a slave doesn't give a liscense for being helpless or stupid. In fact the best slaves are quite capable of taking care of themselves without direction, the preference may be to be taken care of, they need to be able to manage themselves to an extent. (i.e. as a slave there are responsibilities that are set to be met that are expected to be performed without reminders or direction. The slave needs to be able to manage these.)
- Being a slave is 24/7. Conditional, limited time, or in regards of only particular things is dom/sub play.
- In most cases nudity is a neccessity, and the slave needs to be able to be comfortable naked.
- The slave is always in the masters view and under his guidence and shyness of being watched is not an option.(i.e. a popular part of training is that a slave is not allowed to close any doors between herself and her master.)
The other consider ation is that it is a relationship, although play, disipline and kink is a big part of the relationship, it should not be priority in the beginning of the relationship. A slave should be able to take time to get to know her master before play even begins. Play and the like should be discussed but the fundimental basics of any relationship should be established. These can include basic training on the dress code, greetings, properly exiting an so forth. Just like vinilla relationships a basic foundation needs to be layed before the sexual side of the relationship begins.
